A Little More Life Inside the Box
A new game joins the studio: Out of the Box, a minimalist action-puzzle about escaping twenty-five rooms and carrying a ring out of every one. Its latest pass gives the things inside the box faces, trails and weather.

There is a fourth game in the studio, and this is the first time it has been on the site. Out of the Box is a minimalist action-puzzle game: you are a circle, you are inside a box, and there is a way out of it somewhere. Twenty-five rooms, sixteen mechanics, five tiers of difficulty, and one idea that holds it together — when you escape a room, its border folds inward and becomes a ring inside you, and you carry it into the next one.
Its project page has the screenshots and the trailer. This post is the development update that came with it.
A little more life inside the box
The latest visual pass gives the world more character. Chasers watch through tracking eyes, mirror drones wear split faces, and launch pads signal their direction with flowing thruster arrows. Reset traps have their own warning shape and symbol.

The circle now moves through aurora skies with twin-colour trails. Launches send out shockwaves, collisions throw small sparks, and the arena gently banks with movement. Each successful escape still ends with the box folding into a ring inside the player.
Reduced motion keeps the presentation calmer, removing camera tilt and trails and freezing background animation. The game remains in development.

There is no store page and no release date. The devlog is where this one gets written down.
